Photo storage

We provide photo storage to support print ordering. Please keep your own copies of your photos. EZ Digital Photos is not a permanent photo archive.

Three years of inactivity

Photos and album contents may be removed after three consecutive years without account activity. Signing in, uploading photos, or placing an order counts as activity. Photos needed for outstanding orders are excluded from this cleanup, including orders placed by other customers from shared albums.

Older albums in active accounts

Even if your account remains active, an album with no print orders for more than three years may be marked for future removal. New albums and recent uploads are taken into account so newly added photos are not immediately marked. Orders placed by other customers from shared photos also count.

We give you 30 days after your first cleanup notice to review the album and remove it yourself. The notice will identify the album and its review deadline. Signing in alone does not reset an album's order-based review. A new order or new uploads can make it ineligible for cleanup. No cleanup countdown runs while notices are in testing preview.

Removing an album also queues its unused images for removal from active storage. Photos still used by another album or saved cart, or needed for an unfinished order, remain available. Removed files may be kept in recovery storage; restoring an album can take time while its files are brought back. Order history is preserved.

After removal

Removing photos does not close your account or erase your order history. Removed photos are no longer available to view, share, download, or reorder. You can upload your own copies again.

Recovery and other records

We may keep removed files in a separate recovery archive for a limited period. Recovery is not guaranteed. Copies may also remain in existing backups until those backups are replaced or expire. We retain account and transaction records separately as needed to provide service, maintain business records, and resolve order issues.

Policy changes

Effective October 25, 2026, this policy replaces our previous unlimited-duration photo storage policy. Individual reminder emails are not guaranteed before inactivity cleanup.
